The
Story

Chatham Nov 22-23rd – Union Jiu Jitsu, a leading force in martial arts and community outreach, is thrilled to announce its “24hr Roll-a-Thon” in collaboration with Chatham Goodfellows, a cherished local organization dedicated to supporting families and individuals in need during the holiday season.

Chatham Goodfellows is known for its heartwarming efforts each year to provide food and gifts to those who might otherwise go without during the holidays. Their mission is to bring hope and joy to the community, especially during the colder months when many face added challenges.

Union Jiu Jitsu is supporting this cause in a unique way. In addition to helping raise awareness, the team will “roll” or “spar” for 24 consecutive hours as a symbol of endurance, resilience, and unity with those in need.

Since its founding in 1954, Chatham Goodfellows has rallied community support to ensure no family goes without a meal or gifts during the holiday season, making a meaningful impact in Chatham-Kent year after year.
