Union Jiu Jitsu is a Martial arts School that's close to home. We're built on respect for each other and the group in it's entirety. As a team based in Chatham Ontario, we focus on each persons individual journey through martial arts and in turn that creates a caring inclusive community.
Our Instructors focus on Long-Term Athletic Development inside the gym we aim to inspire and motivate people to become the best version of themselves.
The Union creates a safe space for people to practice Jiu-Jitsu both competitively and recreationally by building an accessible atmosphere both on the mats and in the community near you.
WHAT IS
JIU JITSU?
Jiu Jitsu is a martial art similar to wrestling where opponents gain points based on position and submission. The nature of Jiu Jitsu allows students to practice and skills in a safe environment while simulating "real life" scenario. Making the most effective sport of self-defense.
